Artwork Information
.To send your logo's and artwork to us, send it to us here. We work on a PC, not a Mac, so please save the file in a format that is compatible.
To have a quality engraved recognition award requires the receipt of artwork that contains no color, grayscale or halftones. The best type of file to send us is a vector file created in either CorelDraw or Illustrator, (.ai, .cdr .eps). In any event make sure that you convert the fonts to outline/curves. If you send us an Illustrator file please save it as a CS2 version and don't compress the file. If a vector file is not available (.cdr, .ai or .eps) we can usually work with a black and white 300 dpi .tif or .jpg file with the image at least 2" square. We can usually use a high quality .pdf file. Photocopies will not work. We cannot work with an image that is embedded into a Word document and we cannot open a WordPerfect file. Also, we cannot use files created in Publisher.
If the artwork needs to be cleaned up, we charge $60.00 an hour with a minimum charge of $15.00. You will be notified if your logo needs clean-up prior to us starting work.
For the verbiage you want engraved on the awards we would prefer that you send us a Word document to us here as an attachment to the email using the fonts you would like used. If requested we will email you a PDF proof of your award layout. Please review it carefully and make note of any changes and email or fax it back to us. If there are no changes or corrections please email us that the layout is approved and it is ok to engrave. If you have made changes, we will email you a second proof for your approval. Two proofs are included in the award price. Additional changes will have a $10.00 charge for each added proof requested.:
